Glassett Dental Mission Statement

Our Goal at Glassett Dental is to teach patients to take responsibility for their overall general health beginning with their mouth. We will educate every patient as to the importance of their oral hygiene and provide the best dental care possible

Dr. Nelson D. Glassett

Nelson Glassett was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. He spent a short time of his childhood living in his mother’s native country of Uruguay. His first language is Spanish.

Dr. Glassett graduated from Cottonwood High School, completed his under graduate studies at the University of Utah where he majored in Spanish. He obtained his Doctor of Dental Surgery (D.D.S.) from Howard University School of Dentistry in Washington D.C.
Dr. Glassett has been practicing general dentistry in Salt Lake for the past 10 years. Dr. Glassett has lectured in the United States, Puerto Rico and many countries in Central America on different aspects of dentistry. Dr. Glassett is currently a member of the American Dental Association, the Utah Dental Association.

Dr. Glassett is married and has 4 children. He spends most of spare time with his family playing soccer and camping.
Dr. Glassett loves going to other countries to assist in humanitarian projects accompanied by his family.

Dr. David V. Fischer

Dr. David Fischer was raised in Sandy Utah. He attended the University of Utah for his undergraduate, and attended Loma Linda University in Southern California for his Doctorate of Dental Surgery

He is the Second oldest of seven children. He has been married for fifteen years and has four children. He enjoys spending time outdoors hiking, climbing, flying, scuba diving, and many more outdoor activities. He loves practicing Dentistry and getting to know his patients on a personal level. His greatest joy in life is watching his children grow.

Brook

Brook graduated from dental hygiene school at the Salt Lake Community College in 2005. She has been working for Glassett Dental since July of 2006.

Her favorite part of being a hygienist is her patients. She finds it most rewarding to help patients make a noticeable difference in improving their oral health. Brook loves country dancing, photography, family, friends, and life!

Kim

Kim was born and raised in Parma, Idaho. She came to Utah six years ago to pursue her education at Brigham Young University and then earned her degree in Dental Hygiene at Utah Valley State University.

Kim is the youngest of twelve children and loves spending time with her family whenever she gets the chance! She also enjoys tennis, hiking, camping, rock-climbing, running, and anything outdoors.

Loni

Loni was born and raised in Centerville, Utah. She graduated from Viewmont High School and continued her education at Weber State and Utah State University.

In college she went on a dental service trip to Quito, Ecuador where she was able to clean teeth and provide oral hygiene instruction to many people, some for the very first time. Later that fall during a trip to San Francisco, Loni’s best friend Tyler asked her to marry him! They were married in December 2006. She then graduated in May 2007 with a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Hygiene.

Loni and Tyler recently bought their first home in Clearfield and are loving every minute of their busy lives together!
